Job Description As a Elite Armed Security Officer Full Time Driver Site Assessment in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and following established protocols when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to restricted areas, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership. Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, daily activities, and policy violations. Minimum Requirements: Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
