About the Role

We're looking for experienced, self-driven Freight Agents to operate as independent contractors. This is a true 1099 opportunity -you run your book of business while leveraging our carrier network, back-office support, and technology to move freight efficiently and profitably.

If you already have customers and want better support-or you're ready to build your own book without micromanagement-this role is for you.
What You'll Do

• Source, book, and manage freight across available modes (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, etc.)
• Develop and maintain your own customer relationships and carrier base
• Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers to maximize margin
• Track shipments from pickup to delivery and resolve issues as they arise
• Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and communication
• Work independently while collaborating with internal operations support as needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous freight brokerage or logistics experience preferred
• Existing book of business strongly preferred (but not required)
• Strong negotiation, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
• Familiarity with TMS systems and freight market trends
• Reliable internet and phone access

This position is a 1099 independent contractor role . Freight Agents are responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and business expenses.
