Job Description

Marketing Lead

Location: Remote : LatAm

Schedule: Central Daylight Time - CDT hours

Salary: $2500

We are dedicated to providing compassionate, top-tier legal representation in family law. As a rapidly growing firm based in Texas, we rely on innovation, data-driven decisions, and exceptional client experiences to drive our expansion. We are not looking for someone to simply manage tasks or report metrics—we are looking for a true business leader to take complete ownership of our entire marketing function, build scalable systems, and drive measurable firm growth.

Primary Objective: Own our firm's entire marketing function.

This is not a role for someone who simply manages projects or reports marketing metrics. We are looking for a leader who thinks like an owner, builds systems, solves problems, develops people, and drives measurable business growth. You will be responsible for our marketing strategy, budget, team, technology, analytics, and overall marketing performance. Success will be measured by results, continuous improvement, and your ability to build a marketing department that operates with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the firm's marketing strategy.
  • Own and manage the marketing budget.
  • Lead and develop the marketing team.
  • Manage outside vendors and agencies.
  • Oversee paid advertising, SEO, website strategy, social media, content, CRM, lead tracking, and marketing technology.
  • Ensure marketing efforts are measurable and continuously optimized.
  • Improve lead generation, conversion rates, and marketing ROI.
  • Build systems and processes that allow the department to operate efficiently with minimal oversight.

What We're Looking For:

  • Ownership: You don't wait for direction.
  • You identify problems, develop solutions, make decisions, and take responsibility for results.
  • You think like an owner, not an employee.
  • Curiosity
  • One of the most important qualities we are looking for is curiosity.
  • We expect you to question data, investigate unexpected results, and understand why things happen.
  • Builder and Leader
  • We are a growing business, not a large corporation.
  • We're looking for someone who can both lead and execute.
  • While your primary responsibility is building and leading the marketing department, you should be capable of stepping into any major marketing function when necessary.
  • If our marketing team disappeared tomorrow, you should be able to keep marketing moving while rebuilding the department.
  • We expect you to build a strong team, not become dependent on one.
  • Leadership: You will inherit an existing marketing team.
  • We expect you to evaluate the team, establish clear expectations, improve performance, redefine responsibilities when appropriate, and make hiring recommendations based on what's best for the business.

Preferred Experience:

  • 4 years experience leading marketing for a small or rapidly growing business.
  • 3 years of previous experience working with AI search engine optimization (AEO)
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics and ROI.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Experience leading people, agencies, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated success growing a business through marketing.
  • Comfortable making decisions with limited direction.
  • This includes understanding and being able to execute or oversee:
  • Paid advertising
  • SEO
  • Website management
  • Analytics and reporting
  • Lead attribution
  • CRM systems
  • Email marketing
  • Social media
  • Content strategy
  • Conversion optimization

Success in This Role: Within your first year, you should:

  • Build and execute a clear marketing strategy.
  • Improve lead attribution and reporting accuracy.
  • Increase marketing ROI.
  • Build a high-performing marketing team.
  • Create systems that reduce the owner's day-to-day involvement in marketing.

Our Philosophy:

  • We don't hire people to complete tasks.
  • We hire people to own outcomes.
  • The right person notices problems before we do, investigates them without being asked, and brings thoughtful recommendations backed by data.

Deal Breaker If you need someone to identify every problem, explain every issue, decide what should happen next, assign your work, and follow up to ensure it's completed, this role is not the right fit.

We're looking for someone who thinks independently, exercises sound judgment, takes ownership, and builds a marketing department that consistently delivers results with minimal oversight.
