Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience or strong familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and student assessment
• Proven ability to tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned students
• Provide direct special education instruction to elementary-age learners, adapting lessons for various abilities
• Assess students’ skills and develop instructional plans to address learning challenges and strengths
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers to create supportive learning environments
• Document student progress and maintain organized, accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development
